This three day workshop is geared toward getting consistent results and true color from your camera, while adding special shots of beautiful Sedona to your portfolio. We will visit some of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon’s most scenic spots as well as setting up for great sunrise and sunset images. Maybe even capture a coat of snow on the red rocks if we are lucky!. Either way, the clear winter air makes for crisp clean images.

Beginning with meet and greet on Friday night, we will review the weekend ahead. Saturday and Sunday, you can rely on your host’s, Wilson Wyatt and Michael Madsen’s 20 years of expertise in the field to give you one-on-one and impromptu group instruction.

We will be staying at the comfortable Kings Ransom Inn nestled within the crimson buttes of Sedona with hiking trails just steps from our hotel room. Tucked into the Kings Ransom Inn is the Elote Cafe with in house Chef Jeff Smedstad’s who is known for his upscale twist on traditional Mexican food. Complimentary breakfast is included with the accommodations.

This workshop does not involve extended trail hiking. However, we will be walking in Oak Creek Canyon and along surfaces that are uneven. Hiking boots or shoes are recommended. Mornings and evenings will be very chilly at this elevation so bring warm clothing. As Sedona is a feast for everyone’s senses we will offer half price to your non photographer guests (spouse or significant other not carrying a camera)
